The 10-card rummy game is the shortest version of the online rummy game. It’s fast, full of action and quick results leads to instant rewards. For the game to be played there has to be a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 players.
A game of 10 Cards Rummy between only 2 players is played with 1 deck of card (53 Cards) and if the game is played between more than 2 players then there will be two decks of cards that will be used (53 cards in each deck).

Rules Of The Game
The rummy rules for this version are very simple. In order to win a particular game or a round a player must mandatorily complete a minimum of 1 pure sequence.
After completing a pure sequence, a player can go ahead to form sets or sequences. These can be both pure or impure.
A player can form valid sets by grouping more than 3 cards of the same value from different suits without the repetition of the cards from the same suit.
Rummy Variants In 10 Card Rummy
Points rummy can be played with 13 or 21 cards. Here players play for points with pre-decided rupee value. The player who is the first to make a valid declaration, wins the game with 0 points.

(a) 101 Pool Rummy: Here the game continues until all the players are eliminated by one player who survives without accumulating a total sum of 101 pool points. The table is set with a fixed point of entry where the winner takes the entire amount of the table after deducting the platform’s rake.

Here players have the choice to play rummy games with a fixed number of deals to be played. This version has three sub-variants called — Best of 6, Best of 3 and Best of 3 — where the number of deals is decided in advance.
(a) Best of 6 Deals Rummy: It’s played between 2 players where the winner is decided in six deals. Once the table is set, and cards are dealt, the actual game proceeds in the same manner as described above. The player with the least number of points over the other/s wins. In case of tie at the end of the 6th round a tie-breaking round is played to decide the winner.
(b) Best of 3 Deals Rummy: It’s played between 2 to 6 players where the winner is decided in three deals. The player with the least number of points over the other/s wins. The winner can be decided in two deals if one player gets more than 80 points in 2 deals. In case of a tie at the end of the 3rd round a tie-breaking round is played to decide the winner.
(c) Best of 2 Deals Rummy: This is the most popular option as it’s the quickest to get over. It’s played also between 2 to 6 players; the winner here is decided in just two deals. In the best of two the final winner is the player with the least number of points after 2 games compared to the opponent. The winner gets the no. of chip points of the losing opponent. In case of a tie at the end of the 2nd round a tie-breaking round is played to decide the winner.
Calculation of Points In 10 Card Rummy
Face cards such as Ace, King, Queen and Jack carry 10 points each. The printed cards or numbered cards have the same value as their face value.
If a declaration is made by a player with an invalid hand, they get 60 points, and the game will carry on till one player actually wins by making a valid declaration.
Maximum Points In A Player’s Kitty
60 is the maximum points a player can get in this version of the game irrespective of the cards that they hold. So, if a player leaves the table or game, they will lose.
